This insurance policy is for policyholders who own and occupy a dwelling unit owned and insured by a Condominium Association, a Townhome Association, or similar types of organizations.

In most instances the condominium/association assumes responsibility for damage done to the structure. This means that this policy is written to cover the unit owner (through liability and medical payment coverage) and the unit owner’s personal property.

In other instances the condominium/association does not insure the structure.  If this should be the case then there will be a Homeowner’s insurance policy put in force just as it would for a conventional home.
